what does it mean to keep holy the sabbath anymore?

i just recently watched "chariots of fire" and it got me thinking, what ever happened to keeping the sabbath holy? does it even hold any meaning anymore, or is it just another day of the week, where the few who feel like going to church will attend? have the rules changed or are we just too good to follow them? does anyone even have a special mindset for approaching sunday or is it just the day to quickly finish up everything before you dive headlong into the week? have we changed or have the rules?
