isn't it funny how when we are around people who we know we will never see again we act like ourselves? we don't try and control and alter who we really are and we let out what we've buried inside us for so long. but then when we go back to people we know, we must act like the polite and proper, hollow-minded, mass-produced robot we've been taught to be, just like everyone else. we keep our emotions and dreams to ourselves because they might stick out of the crowd and get trampled on. so we just keep on moving with the stampede to avoid being stampeding ourselves. why have we done this? why have we forced ourselves to be like this? feel free to share any thoughts you have on the matter. but until then, here's to trying to swim upstream.

isn't that the truth, we always seem to not be comfortable around other people and never want to just be ourselves and so we let others' opionions get in our way and sometimes we even let them run our lives for us....and then we aren't content with ourselves but we still let them trample all over us....i think we need to start standing up for ourselves and our peers.
