declaration of dependence

i would be no where by myself. everything i have done depends on someone else's doings. we are all dependent, thus the quote: "no man is an island." -jon donne. i was given life, and not of my own assertion. i did not even choose to be here. so how could i be independent? i didn't choose my body, my gifts, my talents, my family. also i need love and i can not give it to myself. so therefore i now declare myself dependent.
